Get Active Projects

Blema Dancers

Join the Belma’s Dancers fun and flamboyant African drum and dance workshops. They take place every week and are open to people of all ages and abilities. Their sessions are a great way to increase your fitness, meet new people and have fun. You will learn upbeat routines and you will also have the opportunity to be part of a performance at the end of the course. Wheelytots


Did you know that a child can learn to ride once they are able to walk? Wheelytots will be introducing toddlers to cycling on their amazing new balance bikes. If you are a parent or carer this would be a great activity to keep your toddler active, meet other parents who are supporting their children to become confident cyclists. Feel Good Eat well Projects

Luncheon Club


Are you an older person living on the Woodberry Down estate with free time on Tuesdays? If you are ever stuck for ideas on what you might do for lunch then come along to the Redmond Community Centre for lunch. The luncheon club is really popular and provides delicious meals. If you have difficulty getting out then they can bring your lunch to you. Made in Hackney


Love cooking or hate it Made in Hackney will get you passionate about cooking. Learn how to cook healthy and tasty meals for family and friends. There will be sessions for parents in creating exciting and healthy packed lunches and it’s a great opportunity to meet new people. Spaces are limited so register your interest as soon as possible. Giving and Sharing Projects

Universal Board Games


We all love playing games and Universal Board Games have more games than you could possibly imagine. They will be running sessions that are suitable for all ages.  Come along and play old classics, outdoor games and explore traditional games that are played throughout the world. Sessions will be held after school and during the half term where families can spend quality time together in a vibrant and fun environment. Beyond Feeling s Community Counselling


If you are an older person you will be pleased to know that Beyond feelings will be running weekly singing and massage sessions. If you are worried about multitaskingyou won’t need to do both at the same time. It is a fantastic opportunity to meet people in your community and share a song or two. Cordwainers Garden


There is so much going on with the Corwainers Garden. Not only will you be able to learn about growing food but how to use what you grow in interesting ways like making tea bags, dying fabrics, making natural cosmetics and much more. Tado Ceramics will be running intermediate to advanced ceramics course for local residents living on the Woodberry Down estate. Learn how to make beautiful works of art.
