    Title and description  Published by     Promoting sport toolkit   The Promoting Sport online toolkit is a collection of tools to help you promote sport more easily, effectively and cheaply. Tools available include over 650 high-quality photos of community sport, over 50 how-to guides, a calendar of sporting events throughout the year and access to elite athlete visits for your club or event

This includes advice on how to set up a community cycling group (what equipment you will need, accessing cycle training, and getting funding) and a local directory of LCC clubs across the capital.

    Title and description  Published by     Walking Works   The Walking Works website includes top tips and guidance to help promote walking. This includes a page devoted to walking in London – which offers links to online tools to help people get around London by foot.

 Who offers training courses to run community-based activities? 
    Title and description  Published by     Pro-Active London Community Sports Coach Team   The Scheme aims to establish, across the country, a network of paid, qualified Community Sports Coaches working at local level. Funded by DCMS

    Central YMCA   The YMCAfit programme runs training programmes including the Inclusive Fitness programme, and apprenticeships, and a new programme Physical Activity in a mental health setting.
