Vauxhall Gardens Estate in Lambeth (Phase 2)

Community Engagement

The Well London community engagement process took place in Vauxhall Gardens Estate in July 2012. This included a mapping exercise, doorstep interviews, two Community Café events for residents only, and a Community Action Workshop (CAW - see doc below) that brought together residents and other stakeholders. From the data collected a Well London Vauxhall Gardens Estate Programme Initiation Document (PID) or plan (see doc below) was drawn up and agreed by funders in September 2012.

A team of local Vauxhall Garden residents, of all ages, have been visiting various areas of the estate and creating flower boxes. Gardening sessions will continue throughout this summer, which all residents can take part in.
